Site of the largest bombardment of the Revolutionary War during the Fall of 1777. The valiant defense of the fort provided Washington time to establish winter quarters in Valley Forge and thus gave us the title “the Fort That Saved America.” Museum, 14 original historic buildings, guided tours, gift shop, areas for hiking and picnics along the picturesque Delaware River. School, Group, and Summer Camp programs available.
