Philadelphia’s Masonic Temple is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year with a series of special events and free tours. The Temple opened in 1873 and contains artwork, stained glass, murals, and sculptures that connect Freemasons and non-Freemasons to a world of art, architecture, and history. Guided public tours are offered daily Tuesday through Saturday. An exhibit hall features artifacts related to the history of the Masonic fraternity in Philadelphia and beyond. The Temple will offer free tours to the public on Dec. 3.
